Hearing my daughter shriek daddy’s home is amazing. After a year-long deployment pfff I won’t even rate when he gets home Baby Yoda hug Saxophone shirt! Yeah, hearing my 3 yr old scream “Mommy” with a big smile on his face and running into my arms when I pick him up from daycare is the best feeling ever!!! And him saying good morning Mommy no matter what with a big smile makes my days brighter. Then when they are teens they could care less if u come home. At least the dog still gets excited when I come home.
